Girls Night Out
Feb 7, 6p-9p, IF: Gathering (Sanctuary)
Feb 8, 9a-5p, IF: Gathering (Sanctuary)
This February, HFUMC is so excited to be hosting IF:Gathering. This event joins hundreds of thousands of women worldwide and brings together women at your church, small group, and from all across your city to watch the livestream of the IF:Gathering. The event name is inspired by the question “If God is real… then what?” We will be reminded that because God is indeed who He says He is we in turn have a job to do on this earth: tell other people about Him. This is a chance to turn off all the noise, get in the Word, experience powerful teaching, dive into authentic conversations, worship Jesus, and hear stories that will compel you to take your next steps towards life and peace.
Our local event is called IF:Canton. SAVE THE DATE! For more information, check out our site: https://canton.iflocal.com
Stephen Ministry
Did you know there is a difference between a Stephen Minister and a counselor? A counselor sets goals for the client, encourages behavioral changes and measures progress. In contrast, the care receiver in Stephen Ministry drives the process, and the Stephen Minister is there for confidential support. You can talk to a Stephen Minister today.

Downtown Atlanta Homeless Ministry

Our Homeless Ministry visits Atlanta once a month to share the love of Christ with our homeless neighbors. We pray with many that we meet and offer kindness and care (food, hygiene kits) to people who are often ignored or unseen. How can you participate? Donate food or other items. Help with meal preparations or travel to Atlanta with the team.
