FIRST TIME VISITING?
Below are some frequently asked questions that we hope will help you feel comfortable on your first Sunday with us. We look forward to seeing you!
What is Hickory Flat like?
Hickory Flat Church has one Sunday worship time at 9:30am and 11am. If you enjoy worship with a praise band complete with guitars, keyboards, and percussion, you might want to try the celebration at 9:30am. If you enjoy the sounds of piano, instrument ensemble, and choir, then the celebration at 11am might be more to your liking. We celebrate Holy Communion during both services on the first Sunday of each month.
How should I dress?
Hickory Flat Church is a casual place of worship. You’ll find everything from suits and ties to blue jeans. Come as you are comfortable.
Where do I enter the building?
Follow the arrows on the parking lot surface, driving around to the right of the church building.
You may enter through the East Cherokee Dr. entrance, which brings you into the side of the church.
You may enter through the first set of double doors (at the covered drop-off area), which brings you into the back of the church (the usual entrance into a church). Or you may enter through the second set of double doors, the Main Entrance, which brings you through the welcome center. Click here for directions to us.
What will my children do during worship?
We have nursery care available for children ages 3 and under. Older children will worship with you, because children - fidgets and whispers and all - are members of the Kingdom of God, too!
